GLITORIS! ‘The Disgrace EP’ At Radio Now (Buttercup Records)

"Their debut E.P The Disgrace is a four-track collision of roaring vocals paired with monster drumming, strong, screachy guitars and lyrics you just want to scream along to." HAPPY

Glitoris are four women who are not afraid to be un-ladylike, assertive and commanding by roaring their music through sweaty, passionate punk-rock.

With recent Triple J and Australia-wide radio-play for their debut single “Disgrace”, Glitoris has been generating heated discussion that landed them a record deal with Buttercup Records, a support slot for Regurgitator and a show at The Famous Spiegeltent. Their powerful and multiplying fan-base, the GLITERATI, have surprised even the band members with their passionate fervour towards all things Glitoris.

Now, this “powerhouse of feminist magnificence” (BMA Magazine) are hitting the road with their debut vinyl and CD release: The Disgrace EP.

Glitoris' debut four-track EP sports an energetically rich pop-punk sound that pits grinding guitars against heart-racing beats, sharp shouts against sweeping four-part harmonies.

Recently signed with Buttercup Records, The Disgrace EP was recorded at Infidel Studios with Duncan Lowe, mixed by Sam Bennett, and mastered at Studios 301 with Andrew Edgson, Glitoris’s debut EP is a stunning example of fearless songwriting, smouldering musicianship and passionate performers coming together to say something. Whether it’s domestic violence, body image issues or gender inequality, The Disgrace EP challenges gender stereotypes while simultaneously creating an atmosphere of party and celebration.
